FAQ's

The Certified Turnaround Analyst (CTA) accreditation is a knowledge-based certification designed to give aspiring and experienced turnaround professionals across Europe the knowledge and competence to carry out or work on turnaround and restructuring appointments.

The Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) accreditation, is an experience-based certification open to experienced turnaround practitioners. CTPs have a proven track-record and years of experience in working with companies or large business units that are in financial crisis, must be or have held positions such as Turnaround Director, Chief Restructuring Officer or Interim C-Level Executive and must demonstrate knowledge in the legal, financial and management aspects of a turnaround.

CTP Application Fee: £450/€500. CTP Membership: £420/€457 per calendar year, pro-rated (payable on approval of application).

The CTA and CTP accreditations signal to clients, judges, referral sources and employers that you demonstrate technical competency and significant experience leading turnaround or restructuring appointments.

Your accreditation will be valid as long as you continue to meet the requirements. These requirements include remaining active as a professional, abiding by the TMA Code of Ethics, and completing at least 20 hours for CTAs and 30 hours for CTPs of continuing professional education during two-year periods, including two hours of ethics credit.

Yes, it is possible to undertake single modules contained in the course. However, while you will gain the knowledge contained in the learning material, you will not be eligible for CTA status or EACTP membership until completion of all three Books of Knowledge (BOKs) in the course.

The CTA and CTP accreditations are recognised throughout Europe (including the United Kingdom), North America, Australia, Japan, amongst others.
